What do we do at Fuel Athletics

Hey guys, As you know at fuel athletics no workout is the same and everyday we change it . At Fuel we do functional training.

Functional training is a type of strength and conditioning workout that focuses on exercises that simulate real-life movements and activities. The goal of functional training is to improve a person's ability to perform everyday tasks and activities with ease, as well as to reduce the risk of injury.

Functional training exercises typically use bodyweight, resistance bands, dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, and other equipment to target multiple muscle groups at once, rather than isolating individual muscles like traditional weightlifting exercises. This approach mimics the complex and dynamic movements of real-life activities, such as lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, and bending.

Functional training emphasizes movements that involve stability, balance, and coordination, making it ideal for individuals of all ages and fitness levels. It can also be adapted to target specific physical weaknesses or limitations, such as limited mobility in the shoulders or hips, making it a great option for people with injuries or chronic conditions.

Examples of functional training exercises include squats, lunges, push-ups, pull-ups, rotational movements, and balance exercises. These exercises can be performed in a variety of ways, with modifications available for people at different fitness levels, making functional training an accessible and effective workout option for everyone.

In conclusion, functional training is a versatile and dynamic form of exercise that focuses on improving overall fitness and functional ability through exercises that mimic real-life movements. Whether you're an athlete looking to improve your performance or an older adult looking to maintain independence and reduce the risk of injury, functional training can offer a variety of benefits for people of all ages and fitness levels.
